5/1/15 3 AREAS TO IMPROVE ON

Many times we find that we fall short of our goals.  Instead of accomplishments, today you will need to list THREE areas that you would like to improve upon during the next school year.  Consider this some preliminary goals that you are setting for yourself.  Failure is only failure if you do not learn and improve from it.  Share some items that you hope to improve upon in the next year of your life.  (again, keep in mind that this is a public blog)

  1. I won't be here next year but I will be starting college in July. I will be nervous starting a new path in my life. I will want to work hard on my classes and keep up good grades. Also I will want to be to class on time and not miss any class. I will also have a job threw college so balancing job and homework will be another challenge for me.

  2. My goals for next year include: Keeping up on my grades. I want to study a lot and do my best in the classroom. Another goal of mine is to balance my job and school. I want to use my time wisely so I don't get so stressed. Another goal is to make a lot of new friends once I get to college. Make friends who make good choices and are good influences on my college life.

  4. Next year is going to be completely different. I will need to focus a lot more on school and homework rather than friends. I will also need to make sure that I spend my money in the right spots. During college you don't always have that extra money so use it wisely. Lastly is sticking to it. I will need to finish college and I can't give up because it is harder than high school. I have to keep pushing.

  5. My main goal next year is to keep my grades up and do well in school. It's going to be different than high school so I'm going to have to get used to that, but it'll be good. Another goal is being able to manage my time between my classes, sports, and social time. My third goal is to do well in cross country since I've never really done it, and I also want to improve in track so I can do the best that I can do.

-learn how to create and then continue to have and manage a budget for my money
-get involved on campus through intermurals, while keeping my grades up
-explore classes and declare a major by second semester
-don't procrastinate as much as I did in high school
