Within a year, their grocery bill declined quite a bit. Their idea has sparked the community and now people are using their idea for their own, "Garden Pools"
A family moved into a house and there was a broken swimming pool. Instead of fixing it up, they decided to build a plastic cap around the bottom and grow a garden. After one year, their garden had enough food to cover the cost of 3/4 of their food. After 5 years, the whole world now has discovered the true benefits of a garden pool.

I read the immigration crisis article. Basically, because of the overwhelming amount of illegals, people don't trust immigrants in general, so less LEGALS are coming in, so- in turn, there's not a lot of immigrant workers. So, farmers on the east coast are kind of freaking out because they're short handed. However, they're optimistic and hopeful for incoming workers to come. The last paragraph said that they really value the migrant workers' work, and even though there's conflict right now, they really do respect the immigrants.
Farm workers are in a shortage. The past immigrant workers are aging out, and so the number of migrant workers has decreased. The Americans don’t want to work the low paying seasonal work. So the immigrants fill those spot.
