  1. 'Megadrought' likely by end of century
The southwest and Americas breadbasket are expected to experience a mega drought late in this century and continuing for at least three more centuries according to Cornell University and NASA. The reasoning behind the drought is the carbon dioxide that is being put in the air. If we lower greenhouse gases within the next 10 year that could lower the risk. A drought take a long time to unfold but it is a natural hazard that we could help to prevent. Ault wants to stop carbon dioxide emission as soon as possible to help out the grandchildren and children at the end of the century.

  2. Mad Cow Case Reported In Canada
Recently in Canada, a cow was confirmed having mad cow disease and their Canadian version of the secretary of agriculture said NO when he was asked if the public should be concerned, because no meat from the contaminated cow was put into the food supply. The cow will likely die, but that will at least stop the disease from spreading, hopefully.
