Convention sessions- Went well I liked them seemed to be a lot better than two years ago when I went
ReplyDeleteWorkshops- Only went to Career fair but it was okay
Keynote speakers- There wasn't one. State officer retiring address was good I liked it.
Location of events (Hotels, PBA)- I liked where it was much better than when it was in the other part of Lincoln
Our hotel (Hilton Garden Inn)- I didn't stay there
Transportation- I rode the bus down with the seniors, and I came home with my parents.
The convention sessions were better than last year. I didn't stay in the Hilton hotel but we saw the entry way and it looked pretty fancy. Transportation was good because I didn't have any sprained ankles, so walking wasn' a problem. Also, Leroy is so cool. t also liked the area that they Pinnacle is in because there aren't as many homeless people that come out around the Haymarket area..... I loved the career fair. There was a LOT more there than the past at the Cornhusker. I liked how they really touched on ag education because isn't there a shortage of ag teachers? But I think they touched on it a little much. But I liked the addition. my parents really liked the place we ate just because they said it was ten times cheaper than the past. So that was really good.
ReplyDeleteConvention sessions - They were pretty much the same. I really liked the addition of ag teachers talking too. That was neat. Otherwise, it was the classic state officer retiring addresses and some motivational junk haha
ReplyDeleteWorkshops - I didn't get to attend any workshops because I was interviewing.
Keynote speakers - The only big keynote I got the chance to see was the man that giggled a lot. He was HILARIOUS and had a good message. I liked it a lot.
Location of events (Hotels, PBA) - Loved loved loved the hilton more than the cornhusker. The PBA made the big sessions seem smaller, because the old arena was always so packed. But, I really liked the bigger space. The lights were neat, especially during the national anthem, but I hated the flashing ads.
Our hotel (Hilton Garden Inn) - loooooooooooooved it. The breakfast was awesome!
Transportation - I didn't mind the bus ride. Everything seemed to flow okay to me!
Convention sessions: I thought that the session were pretty good. I thought they maybe could have been organized a little better because I felt like some of them weren't that greatly organized.
ReplyDeleteWorkshops: I went to two workshops. The first one I attended I didn't like at all. There were to many people in one room and it just wasn't very interesting. The second one that I attended was a much better one. I enjoyed the interactions and felt like there wasn't as many people in that one.
Keynote speakers: I lLOOOOVVVEEEEDDD the keynote speaker that was there on Wednesday night. He was so hilarious i loved what he had to say was Aloha and things. He was very interesting. I don't really remember the others ones he stood out the most to me.
Location of events (Hotels, PBA) I like the PBA alot better. I felt like there was a bunch of room and you didn't feel very crowded. I liked how close together everything was, but I hated the choices that we had for food. We didn't really have that many choices.
Our hotel (Hilton Garden Inn) I absolutely loved the Hilton Garden Inn. It was so nice and fancy. I liked how close it was to the PBA.
Transportation
Convention sessions- I thought these were better because there was actually room for everyone and I didn't have to stand in the back of a room and not be able to see anything like previous years.
ReplyDeleteWorkshops- I didn't attend any workshops this year so I wouldn't have any feedback in this area.
Keynote speakers- I listened to the national officer from Georgia and I really enjoyed his speech. He kept it entertaining and fun to listen to.
Location of events- I was only there for one day so I didn't really have to go anywhere besides Pinnacle, but just from that one day I like it better than previous years. The variety of different restaurants was nice and everything was fairly close together. I especially liked everything in the Pinnacle Bank Arena. It made it feel more official.
Hotel- I didn't stay there so I wouldn't have any feedback here either.
Transportation- From what I could tell, transportation was good!
