  1. He told his story about being in FFA it wasn't only FFA he liked to watch the others walk across the stage. Then he told his story about skiing and the sign saying experts only, Ryan and him did rock papers scissors and he had to go first because he told himself he couldn't give in. Brian's skiing went pretty good but he didn't do the jump and then Ryan flipped upside down and landed on his head, but he was strong and walked down the mountain, Ryan continuously tried the jump and by the end of the day he mastered it. He told his speech on the sign from reading the sign it made him feel he couldn't do it, but Ryan went past it and did it, looking back Ryan wishes he wouldn't of let the sign stop him. Why does it take failing a test to teach us to study for the next one. His question was why don't we start ignoring all the signs and be ourselves and make our own stories. Don't use others stories to stop us, use their stories to push us to make our own stories. Martina came up to Brian and told him she was quitting FFA so he asked why, she wanted to quite because she felt like her story would never matter because she was always compared to her sisters. Her realization that she told Brian kept her in FFA made her realize her story does matter. What is our story, what makes us different?? Katie is his friend that knows everything about him and is his best friend she had been there for everything, one morning he got a call from her that she was driving to Pennsylvanian because her cousin had been killed and he didn't know what to say, She finally told him she didn't call him to need a fake Brian she needs the true Brian to talk to her to be himself. We can act now, we have the only story that matters, our story is our story and it matters!

I really like what he had to say.

  3. Brian Walsh's lisp was cute. Haha. Anyway, he loves skiing. Him and Ryan were amazed by watching the pros on the ski slopes and they wanted to be experts like them. They made a deal that they would both take one jump. They saw this giant sign that says black diamond course, experts only. And they got super nervous. After losing at rock paper scissors, Brian went. Then he chickened out on his jump. Ryan went next and flipped upside down, unintentionally, and landed on his head. His skis wen't flying and Brian was terrified. Ryan pumped both fists in the air and walked back down the mountain. He thought that was awesome. Then Ryan practiced that jump the whole time and he eventually mastered it. Brian went on to say that he regrets not taking that jump. The sign that said expert got into his head. Brian says don't live in the shadows of those who were great before you. Success is not defined by a moment in the past, but the willingness to go out and live your story. He gave the example of michael Jordan not making his high school basketball team. Don't let your failures keep you from trying. Don't let them keep you from success, don't let them define your life. We don't need an inspiring moment to make us go out do something amazing. Value the life we have been given. We should ignore those signs that tell you that you need experience. That was what really spoke out to me. Use other peoples stories to fuel your own story-thats when you succeed. Then he gave another example about this girl in FFA that wanted to quit because she felt like she had to live up to her older sisters reputation. She realized that she has a story that matters and it doesn't matter about what her sisters did. Then she stayed in FFa. Everyone's story matters.

  4. Walsh loves skiing and him and ryan watched pros and were amazed. They wanted to be experts like people they've seen and they tried things that they saw experts doing. They made a deal they were going to take this big jump, just one time atleast. Ryan fell on his head but got up and kept trying again. Brian also kept trying. They learned that it's okay to fail as long as you learn something and get back up and try again. They talked about Michael Jordan not making his high school basketball team now look at him. You can't let your failures define you. Get up and keep trying. Also they talked about a girl from FFA and how everyone expected her to be just like her sister so she wanted to quit but when she realized that she didn't have to then she didn't quit and stayed in. Always try again after you fail.
