This is election day, many of you are not old enough to vote but some of you are. Share your thoughts today on some of the morals and values that you feel are the most valuable that you would look for in a candidate to vote for. Maybe it is their stance on abortion or immigration? Share AT LEAST THREE things that you would look for in voting for a candidate to represent you on any level (local, state, or national). Make sure to provide a sentence with each of your three to explain why you feel that way.
FICTITIOUS EXAMPLE: Candidates that like the color blue: I will only vote for candidates that like the color blue because that is the color of the sky and I like the sky.
I don't pay attention to election day things. When I had to register to vote I put no participant. So I don't support anyone on election day.
ReplyDeleteI think that abortion is very wrong and shouldn't be allowed at all. I think if you get pregnant and your not ready for a baby or you are not stable enough to take care of it, put it up for adoption, don't kill it because you made a bad decision.
Candidates that support our troops: I think supporting our troops is very important. When people don't show respect to our troops it really bugs me. Do some people not understand the things troops do for our country.
I am old enough to vote but yeah that's why I am in government because I probably shouldn't vote because I know nothing. I think what I look for in a candidate is someone who wants to change some things that have been in place forever but need chaining. At the local level. VOTE BETH SCHULZE FOR COUNTY CLERK. Yeah, but I'm not voting. Another thing is loyalty. Someone who doesn't say they will change things but they actually will. Another one is that they aren't super old. Just because super old people especially politicians get super boring.
ReplyDeleteHonesty is the best policy. I want a leader that will be honest with you, even if the truth is hard to hear.
ReplyDeleteI support candidates who are against abortion. I believe abortion is wrong and shouldn't even be compromised.
Candidates who are loyal would make good leaders. The ones who when they say they will do something, they actually do it.
-A candidate need to be honesty. They can't promise all of these things and then they don't give them to you. They must say what they are going to do and do it.
ReplyDelete-They must want change and be willing to do change. They can't just give up because something isn't working. They need to keep trying and pushing to succeed.
-The last thing is that they are against abortion. I don't think that any kids should be killed before being born because their parents don't want them.
-The first thing i would look at is how the treat people. If someone isn't nice to people they meet, then I will most likely not vote for them
ReplyDelete-I would also look at their views on major political issues, for example: abortion, immigration, and ISIS
-I would also look at their background, their beliefs, and their work ethic.
Honestly I dont plan on voting for a while. But when I do vote i will look for a leader and their honesty with our country.
ReplyDeleteI dont really follow the hole thing and I dont really worry about it
ReplyDeleteReally dont like a any party really dont care who I would vote for everyone is good
Trustworthiness. I'd look for someone who wouldn't take big company bribes within their job.
ReplyDeleteWelfare. I'd look for a candidate who wasn't planning on writing out checks to people who don't work hard.
Military Complex: I'd look for a candidate that was genuinely interested in the well being of our troops, not in the money behind war.
Buuuuuut I'm not old enough to vote yet. So I don't really have a real opinion.
I don't know much about it so I didn't vote, because you shouldn't vote if you have no idea what you're voting for.
ReplyDeleteI hate abortion and I think it's way wrong but in one or two circumstances. I don't think abortion should be legal since murder isn't and it's just as wrong.
