2015 Nebraska State Fair Theme Fun is in the Fair is the theme this upcoming year. “This year’s theme highlights the family-focused fun that is the primary ingredient in every state fair,” said Shaun Schleif, director of marketing and sponsorships for the Nebraska State Fair. He believes that the Nebraska State Fair is the most entertaining thing about Nebraska and many would agree. The dates run from August 28 to September 7th. In april, they are announcing the two performers for the concerts that will be held outside this year. And the second concert day will have one of the biggest performers in State Fair history.
China Approves all U.S. Apple Varieties The U.S. Department of Agriculture said Monday that, for the first time, all apples of the United States would go on sale in China. A deal last week between the United States and Chinese governments stated that all U.S. varieties of apples would be able to go to China instead of the normal Red and Golden Delicious. The Washington Apple Commission, which has the most apple exports, said China quit buying apples from us in 2012 due to concerns about fungus.

Last week, the US and Chinese government agreed to restart importing all varieties of apples to China again. It's a pretty big deal. The USDA predicts that apple exports are going to go up 10-15% this year. Which means a lot of apple growers are going to make more money. So, our economy might improve. We'll see!

The goal this year is that they want to take the fair to a whole new level of fun. They plan to start the fair out with two huge outdoor concerts, the first ones since 2010 when it moved to Grand Island. The national level is even focused on fun. The moral of this article is that this year they really want to focus on the fun of the state fair. They want to emphasize the greatness of the state fair.

It will take place in February and be held in a couple different areas.
