  1. I think this quote means that some people never want to leave home because they don't know what to except outside of the house they don't know what the real world brings. Life is rough and you will fail but you learn from failing, you'll never be a pro because life always brings new things.

  2. This is cool. So obviously Larry Bird had a big dream ever since he was young. He was a perfectionist at a young age and that got him to where he is now.

  3. This is a good quote. Larry is trying to tell you to never give up. If you have a dream then don't quit until you have succeed. He didn't give up on basketball until he was a pro, so you shouldn't give up until you because a pro as well.

  4. This just means that you've got to work hard to achieve any goal. Talent without effort is worthless.

  5. It's important when you have a dream to do everything in your power to make it happen. In Larry Bird's case, it was practicing until he thought it was perfect basically.

  8. Don't do things half way. The people who are the most successful are the ones who do things completely.
