I think this quote means that we can't do everything but we can do the small things and we can help others out with them. Doing small acts of kindness when we can, means the most to people.
I like this quote a lot. No one has to do great things like be the CEO of some huge company. But if you do the little things with love, that is the equivalent, if not more, than great things.
Some people don't grow up to be the President of the United States or a gold-medal olympian. But people can do whatever they're good at, and put all they're love into it, and be great at it. It's like if you were running a big race and you were in second or third and the person in front of you fell and hurt something, you could be remembered for going on and getting first or second. Or you could help that person up and help them across the finish line. It'd be a small thing, but it would mean a whole lot more than if you didn't.
It doesn't matter what you do as long as you love it. It doesn't have to be large, just as long as you enjoy doing it and love what you are doing. I really like this quote.
I really like this quote as well. I agree with what Brittany said and building off of her words: some people are going to be known. Some are going to be famous for doing amazing things. Some of us are going to be as well known as Henry Ford or Eli Whitney. Others of us are going to inspire people and touch people's hearts, and that's just as significant. For example, I'm not going to be a state officer, but I feel like I touched the hearts of many people in my chapter, and maybe my leadership inspired someone who WILL go on to be an officer from Hampton, and that's I'm satisfied with that.
I think this quote is saying that support is a key component in success. If you don't have people to cheer you up or bring you up, it is more difficult. When someone tells you something negative you start to believe it. But when something positive is said its the same deal.

ReplyDeleteNot everyone has the ability to go out and do amazing things, but there is nothing stopping us from doing a lot off little things greatly.
ReplyDeleteNot everyone can do big, great, amazing things, but the little things you can do, take advantage of them, because some people can't even do that much.
