People try to make the outside look better than the inside. I like this quote. It is like people judge others by their looks on the outside and not on the inside. They think that its not what the heart does but what the looks do.
It's what is on the inside that counts. I think especially today people try and change themselves physically to impress others. That shouldn't be the case. If you look good but have a poor heart, people aren't going to like you. This makes me think of the song off of The Princess and the Frog that says, "It don't matter what you look like. It don't matter what you wear. How many rings you got on your finger, we don't care. No, we don't care!" Don't judge a book by a cover. Because you never know what people have to offer by just looking at them.
Many people judge by appearance, but its whats on the inside of the person. This day and age is bad about this. We are prone to judge people by what they wear or what they not wear haha. But yeah. Get to know the person first before you judge.
I think this quote is saying it's whats inside that counts. Society says that you have to be a certain way to fit it. But really whats important is that you're a good person. Looks can only get you so far, its things like your attitude and personality that count.
I think this quote means that there is always an inside and an outside. People may only see whats on the outside and not be able to see the inside. Its not whats outside that means the most its whats inside, your true colors.
This quote is neat. Being who I am, I'm going to relate this to what I know: speech. Often in speech people focus too much on the VA's and not on the words, and then they don't do very well. My visuals aren't crazy in depth, but they're effective and I was a district champion based on what mattered: the words.
This means don't judge a book by its cover. There are more than looks, you can't just look at something and walk away, you have to actually look passed appearance.
