Wet Fall Could Lead to a Late Harvest I read the article about weather. I think it's neat to have read this because I was just thinking to myself that harvest is taking a while this year. The fall rains and wet mornings have kept people out of the fields, hence the delay in harvest. This weather, then, is causing a ripple affect on everything farmers have scheduled. Including paychecks. Who knew rain could effect wages? While farmers are waiting, they are working on equipment to ensure that when it does finally dry out that they can be as efficient as possible.
