  1. I think this quote means once you get yourself in trouble stop digging because things can only get worse. People say your digging yourself a hole, I think this is kinda of related. Be careful and control your actions.

  2. If you get yourself stuck in a situation you do not want to be in, or should not be in, don't make it worse. Figure out what you need to do to make it better and fix the problem.

  3. This quote would work well for our team. Because if we dig ourselves a hole, WE NEED TO STOP DIGGING THE HOLE. Because it seems as if we just keeping doing it and keeping digging. Then we end up losing a set like 25 to 9. Or we stop digging and win 27 to 25.

  4. This means that if you've already got yourself introuble, don't make it worse. For example, if you compliment a girl, in some way or another she'll probably take it as an insult, so when she gets offended, just leave it, because you'll keep digging a hole. Another example could be if you're on probation, or diversion or whatever, stay out of trouble so you don't make it worse, cause the more you get introuble the worse you're going to get punished.

  5. I like this quote. One good example is when you get bad grades. Don't just keep not studying and sit there. Try hard and maybe you will somewhere in life. You need to try harder to succeed.

  7. This means if you start getting into trouble, the best way to not make it worse- is to do just that- and don't make it worse. If you're in a bad situation, do your best to STOP BEING BAD. I.e. if your parents are mad at you, don't lip off. If you're losing a basketball game, stop turning the ball over. If you're on probation, don't rob a bank. Common sense.

  9. If you mess up doing something.. Dont keep doing what youre doing. Do something different and make it better.. sooooo you refill the hole and make your way out.. instead of making it worse

  10. If you say or do something stupid just stop talking or doing whatever you're doing because you'll just make it worse if you don't.

  11. well this pretty much means that if you find yourself in a bad spot it's most likely your fault, and you need to stop making bad decisions before anything will get better.
